We had a "wind advisory" day on the Lower Sac today.  Persistent 15-20mph winds made fishing challenging in many areas.  The river still fished pretty good, though.  Usually when it's that windy the fish seem to be off the bite.  Today we landed a few nice 16-18" rainbows, hooked plenty of medium-sized fish, and lost a huge one that looked to be about 22".  PMD nymphs were the best fly for us today - the PMD hatch lasted from 10am to 4pm.
