I fished a lot of water in the last 3 days here in the intermountain area.  Fishing has been tough in general with slow outings on the Fall River and some of our local small streams.  Fortunately, there has been some good fishing mixed in.  The hex hatch is really thick right now, sometimes too thick.  The fish seem more enamoured with the hex hatch some nights than others.  Tonight we had our best evening yet with guests Bill and Harvey both landing a couple of fish in the 20" range.
