Today I had my best day on the Lower Sac since the August 1st "re-opener".  Clients Steve and Rick caught dozens of fish and half of them were in the 18"+ range.  We have salmon trickling into the upper river and there are just enough spawning to trigger a solid egg grab.  Our best fish today was a rainbow between 3 and 4 pounds.  The day was perfect, except for when Rick's squawfish barfed all over my pants!  Gross.
