I took the guide school boys out for an evening of hex fishing tonight.  The hatch was surprisingly good.  Sam and Jim each broke off a nice fish on the hookset and Jim landed an 18" rainbow.  We had about 10 grabs on the big dry fly in all.  Not too bad for late July!
