I have spent the last 3 Septembers in BC, and it seemed to always be cold and rainy prior to this season. I had a great week of angling despite the perfect summer weather, fishing with other hopelessly addicted steelhead bums on the famed tributaries of the Skeena. The low and clear water on a particular river has provided the opportunity to sight fish to steelhead over 20 lbs...truly amazing. They are pretty difficult to catch in this situation, but we managed to land some absolutely amazing specimens this week, and lost quite a few others.
