Rapid river rises are predicted Wednesday night into Thursday as a strong storm system and atmospheric river impacts the northwest California coast. The Eel, Van Duzen, Navarro, and Russian all are forecast to rise rapidly with some possibly reaching monitor or flood stage. Be prepared by moving anything near the river bank to higher ground before the rivers start to rise.
