Spent a day with Ryan and his wife on the Lower Sac and we fished from Posse to Bonneyview... twice! The bugs were moving around pretty early on and we caught some nice fish throughout the day, mostly on caddis and a few random mayflies. Saw a lot of PMDs but the fished were definitely eating poopahs and other caddis imitations. The temp was pretty much perfect -- not too hot and not too cold. The quality of these lower Sac trout is amazing and it's hard not to get excited when you see 18+ inch fish consistently hooked! Let's go!
