Summer Steelhead
The Upper Rogue has one of the best summer steelhead runs for swing anglers in the whole Pacific Northwest.
Our summer season begins in July and really heats up in August.
This is prime time to fish with Scandi lines and traditional flies, or work with your Skagit heads rigged up with light tips.
We will help you understand how, when, and why we fish with different rigs.
Good fishing opportunities continue through September and into our beautiful Fall season in October and November. December can fish very well too, weather permitting.
Winter Steelhead
Our winter-run fish begin to show up in January.
Prime-time is considered to be mid-February through the end of March.
With higher water we fish more heavy sink-tips and weighted flies during these months.
Upper Rogue Guide Team
Our guide staff on the Upper Rogue includes Gino Bernero, Dax Messett, and Leslie Ajari.
These guides are among some of the most experienced and highly-regarded two handed casting instructors and steelhead guides in the industry.
