High water, combined with low visibility, meant fishing was slow. The big draw this time of year, is throwing Skwala dries. There was no shortage of flies, it was trout noses poking up that proved in short supply. With more rain on the way, conditions will be poor for another week, possibly two. Once the weather clears, the fishing will improve. Skwala will remain viable through the end of March, as focus slowly shifts to PMD's and March Browns.
