The fishing's what I'll call "early season" good. A big push of fish hasn't happened yet but it's in the air. The morning's are getting cooler, the flows are dropping, salmon are moving and steelhead are making it to the net. Colin, Andrew and I have all been on the river. We're getting shots at a few solid adults each day with smaller fish filling in the gaps between the bigger ones. Early season means you have a good chance at connecting with a steelhead but without being cold, wet or both. Visit the Confluence site to see who's got days open on their calendar.
