The wind was relentless and gusty all day today!  It made casting, mending, and boat handling quite a challenge - and it really seemed to put the bite off.  There were a fair number of boats on the water, and I saw very few hooked-up.  Jake and Nicole struggled, but worked like champs to get the best drift possible.  Jake hooked into a few fish, but only managed to bring one to net.  The extended forecast is calling for a chance of rain next week.  Let's keep our fingers crossed!
