It was a hot one today for my guests Matt and Bob! I fished them a few weeks ago on Hat Creek and the Pit River, but today they decided to float the Sac. The grab started a little slow and remained spotty throughout the day. We hooked several fish on a combination of rubberlegs, caddis poopahs, and PMD nymphs. On these really hot days, we try to beat the heat by finishing up between 3:00 and 4:00.
