Did a half-day with regular clients Bill and his grandson Will. We launched a bit later as mornings have been pretty slow but the fish didn’t get grabby until around noonish. Salmon are starting to show up in the usual places but the huevos were no bueno for us today. This will change as more salmon make their way upriver. Almost all of our fish came on one particular (secret) fly. Will had the hot rod today, maybe because he was in the front of the boat, or maybe he was just lucky! We had a larger than normal number of small fish but did get to boat some beauties also. Time to book your trip, fishing is only going to get better!
