Today was our annual Trout Spey trip with the Golden Gate Angling and Casting Club. My guests were Frank, Erik, and Kevin.  The grab started slow, but then became pretty consistent and everyone connected with fish throughout the day. Most of our fish were in the 12” – 14” range, but Erik landed a nice hatchery steelhead in the 17” – 18” range and Frank had a fish hammer his swung fly so hard it broke him off!  The day began a little windy but died down by mid-afternoon and we ended with a perfect fall day.
