I spent a few hours on the Lower Sac today with fellow guide Kevin Kay.  The wind was blowing hard and the leaf hatch was intense.  It was hard not to hook leaves at times, but we did manage to fool some fish when our flies weren't fouled.  This is a great time of year to chase steelhead on the lower river.  We found one nice one today.  Boat traffic is pretty light and fishing is good - come up and see for yourself!
