Art brought his friend John up to fish the Lower Sac. John had never fly fished before but was a quick study, learning the basics of casting, mending, and feeding line in no time. Soon he was hooking and playing fish like a pro. There’s a lot to learn but if you can follow some basic instructions you will catch fish! We had a pretty great morning followed by a pretty slow afternoon, all of which averaged out to a good day of fishing on a beautiful spring day.
