Had a really fun day on the Sac with Todd and his nine year old son, Jonah! It was Jonah's first day on the Sac and I could tell his practice with dad was helpful because he did so good! He tightened up his casting, mending, and also perfected the art of napping in the back of the boat (see photo) as well as eating some of the tasty snacks we had on board (always bring candy for kids!!). The fish seemed a bit grumpier than the last few days but we still hooked fish and lost fish and found fish behind salmon redds and a few elsewhere. I was really proud of how well Jonah did because he kept his head in the game and kept at it. Highlight of the day was when he made a few casts, mends, and then set the hook into the fish that turned out to be the fish of the day! Well done, Jonah! And I got to give props to Todd for being an awesome dad... he's definitely raising his kid right! Take your kids fishing! It's a lot of fun!
