Yesterday we played bumper boats with other folks enjoying the Sacramento River and despite the flows reportedly being wonky (I'm still looking into that), we managed to get a lot of grabs in the morning, some fish to the net, and a double trouble! Mike and Ron did a great job doing all of the right things, fished hard all day, and enjoyed their time. The rumor is that the flows were changing throughout the day to keep the salmon from spawning in some of the shallow water, but the jury is out on that one. It sure would describe our afternoon though, which was pretty slow with far less grabs than has been usual. Still a great day though!
