What a day it was for my guest Mike! He recently moved to the Sacramento area from southern California and quickly learned about the lower Sac. Our plan was to fish the Sac, but with conditions being less than ideal we decided to fish the Trinity instead. This was Mike’s first time fishing the Trinity, but he has fished B.C. several times and knows how to play steelhead. By the end of the day, Mike connected with four large adults. It’s no longer a secret - the word is out the Trinity has fish so expect to see other boats and walk-in anglers.
