I just spent the last four days with my very good guest (and friend) John fishing the lower Sac.  He invited a couple of long time friends to join him and we experienced some pretty wacky weather - rain, wind, thunderstorms, and sunny skies.  With the crazy weather, the grab was inconsistent - but we still hooked some really nice fish.  We desparately need all the rain we can get, so this is a much needed blessing...and a curse.  We've got great weather in the forecast, so if you're thinking about booking a spring fishing trip, now is the time!
