The last few nights have been absolutely amazing on the lower sac. With flows at about 4200 cfs the water is quite low but still fishing quite well with amazing Caddis hatches in the evenings. My cousin Shiloh and I put in this evening and landed quite a few great fish on Caddis and baetis imitations! Salmon have been quite active with more pushing up through the river by the day, the egg bite should take off in a few days. The river has been nothing short of amazing and should only get better as we begin to get some weather!
