I joined fellow guides Luke Geraty and Kevin Kay for a day of "fun" fishing on the Trinity today.  The river was remarkably clear for having spiked up to 1600cfs just a couple days before.  There was still a nice tint to the water, and the elevated flows made for easier boating conditions.  And then there was the fishing, which was excellent!  We caught wild fish, hatchery fish, browns, half-pounders and the highlight of the day was my big wild fish which was in the 9-10 pound range.  Conditions are going to be great for the foreseeable future with multiple storm systems heading our way.  The Trinity rarely blows out and if it does it usually only take a day to become fishable.  We should be enjoying great fishing here on the Trinity for the next three months plus!
