The trinity river has been chilly in the morning to mid afternoon with water temps in the mid 40s. This hasn't stopped fresh wild steelhead from eating nymphs under an indicator! Today was a great day floating the upper section of the river that produced some huge smiles and great fish! This time of year is the beginning of what can be my faborite time steelhead fishing here on the trinity!
