The Trinity River is in absolutely perfect shape right now, emerald green water and brisk mornings make it scream winter steelhead. There is an abundance of fish in the system right now, lots of fresh fish right out of the ocean and Kelts making thier journey back to the salt. This is an amazing time to be on the water chasing steelhead with a two handed rod. With not alot of rain in the extended forecast, the next couple weeks will be your best opporotunity to tangle with a shiny trout.
